Online Shop Policies

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Prices and descriptions of products are subject to change without notice. The Velvet Clock (referred to as “I” or “myself”) reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue products or service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. The Velvet Clock is not liable to the buyer (referred to throughout policy as “you”) or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Some products may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to the Return Policy. I have made effort to display colors and images of products in the store as accurately as possible, but cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

In addition to changes in pricing, product descriptions, and color variances, actual items may vary from that shown in the pictures in the online shop.

The Velvet Clock reserves the right, but is not obligated to limit sales of its products and services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction, and may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. I reserve the right to limit quantities of any products or services I offer. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

If I make a change to or cancel an order, I may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. I reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in my sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for purchases made in The Velvet Clock’s online shop. You agree to update your account and other information (such as email address and credit card information) promptly so we can contact you and complete your transactions.

In no case shall The Velvet Clock be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so in such states or jurisdictions, my liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

 

Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Excludes federal holidays and when otherwise noted on website.

 Shipping

Please allow 2 weeks for delivery. In-stock items will be shipped within 5-7 business days from the date your order is processed. Weekends and US holidays are not included as business days.

Shipping charges listed on checkout are estimations only. You are responsible for all shipping charges and any other fees associated with shipping. This includes original purchases as well as returns.

If a shipping address is undeliverable due to an error inputting the address on the website, you are responsible for related shipping charges and other fees to correct the situation. If a shipping address error is made on my part, I will cover shipping charges to the undeliverable location and you will cover shipping charges to the correct location.

Shipping is a third-party service. Therefore, I have no control over timely delivery, loss, or damage. Any claims of loss or damage should be made to the delivery service.

Local Pickup

If you choose local pickup as your shipping option, you agree to pick up your package from the following address within 3 days of the date of delivery:

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order before the product has been processed (generally within 24 hours) by contacting me. After it ships, you are responsible for all shipping charges and it is subject to the Return Policy.

Return Policy

If you are not happy with your product, you may return the entire product within 30 days of purchase to:

You will receive a refund less shipping charges and associated fees from the original purchase. You are responsible for all return shipping costs. All items must be received undamaged for a full refund. Refunds are credited back the same way they were purchased. The buyer is responsible for any loss in value for any items not returned in original condition.

Damaged Items

If you received an item that was damaged:

  1. Contact me within 5 calendar days of the delivery date.
  2. Contact the carrier within 2 days of delivery date. Any claims of loss or damage should be made to the delivery service.
  3. If you are unable to resolve the issue with the carrier, contact me with written confirmation from the carrier that they are unable to reimburse anything, along with pictures of damaged item(s).
  4. I will send you a comparable replacement. The Velvet Clock will make an effort to replace with an exact replacement, find a similar replacement, or will otherwise reimburse you for the cost of the damaged item. Exact replacements cannot be guaranteed.
